Mat Maitland is best known for his award winning music Design
and Art Direction as part of Big Active, the London based creative consultancy.
He started his career working in-house at WEA records before joining
Big Active and creating memorable music campaigns for Basement Jaxx,
Goldfrapp, Michael Jackson, Simian and most recently Beck.
Not content to sit back while directing freelance illustrators and photographers,
he has evolved into a leading image maker in his own right.
Combining his love of fashion, glitz, music and photography
he has developed an surreal and individual cut and paste eutopia
where 80's Americana sits side by side with wild animals and satin tour jackets.
